Homer Laffoon is the oldest child of Anne Heche. He was born on March 2, 2002, after his mother’s marriage to Coleman Laffoon. While Anne is known to be an actress, his father, on the other hand, works as a real estate broker and camera operator who has worked with Ellen De Generes.
Much about Homer is not known as he mostly keeps a very low profile of himself. What is known, however, is that he got his high school education from Campbell Hall School.
When he was 7 years old, the marriage between his parents came to a sad end in divorce. Since then, he spent most of his time with his mother until her sad death. That said, both his parents were very much involved in his life. In the same manner, he had great bonds with both his father and mother.
Even though he is the only child of his parents, Homer Laffoon has three half-siblings; Zoey, Emmylou, and Wyatt Laffoon, from his dad’s current marriage to Alexi. He also has a sibling, Atlas Tupper from his mother’s aforementioned relationship with James Tupper.
The 20 years old has spent most of his time with his mom and is much closer to her. After his mom’s recent accident, he was seen at the hospital where she received treatment before her passing.

Atlas is the second of Anne Heche’s children. The actress had him from her relationship with James Tupper who is his mom’s ex-partner. Atlas was born on March 7, 2009, which means he is currently 13 years old. Like his half older-brother Homer, only a little can be said about Atlas.
His parents, Anne Heche and James Tupper were said to have first met in 2006 on the ABC show, Men in Trees. At the time, Anne was still legally married to her first husband, although separated. The pair would go on to date until 2018 when they went their separate ways.
In spite of the breakup which was not friendly, Atlas still had a great relationship with both his parents. Her recent accident will had a lot of impact on him, but it is believed that the teenager stood by her till her death. His dad recently posted a picture of Atlas and his mom on Instagram, extending his heartfelt message to Atlas’s mom, as she battled for her life.
After the death of Anne Heche, James Tupper made a promise to her that he would take care of their son.
Anne Heche Fought Through the Child Support System For Her Children
Anne Heche went through a series of court battles with her exes over child custody and spousal support.
Her first court battle started with her former husband, Coleman Laffoon. After spending 5 years together, they legally separated in 2006, and her ex-husband filed for a divorce citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce was legally finalized in 2009, with the couple sharing the responsibility of child custody and spousal support for their 20 years old son.
In a similar situation after Anne’s first marriage, she fought for the child support system for her second son Atlas, whom she shares with ex-partner and actor of the Men in Tree, James Tupper. The duo moved in together in 2007 and co-parented Atlas and his half-elder brother Homer.
Their relationship lasted over a decade before they separated. In their heated child custody battle, Tupper accused the actress of using drugs while she accused him of trying to sell their home in Los Angeles.
Years after the breakup, they continued trading accusations against each other.
