Who is Phil Margera?
65-year-old Phil Ron Margera is Brandon Margera’s father. He was born on July 13, 1957, in Concord Ville, Pennsylvania where he was raised.
Phil is of American-Italian ancestry and was brought up by his father Sir Philip Margera is an actor credited for the Viva La Bam, Minghags, and has worked in the automotive industry at Videon Chevrolet. The older Margera died in 2021 (86) and his mother is Darlene Margera who is also late.
He was brought up alongside seven siblings, with most of them also in the entertainment industry taking after their late father’s footsteps.
As regards his education, he finished at Chichester High School in 1974, located at Boothwyn PA. And then enrolled for his primary education in his hometown at a local school.
He started his career as a baker
Bam’s dad started his career as a professional baker, before switching to the entertainment industry in his 40s. Before then, he never thought of acting as a career. He first started in Toy Machine: Jump off A Building (1998). His breakout movie as an actor was in the comedy/Indie film titled Haggard (2003), starring as a bakery shop owner and the fat guy with watermelon, alongside his wife, brother Vincent Margera, and two sons.

Phil Margera had a weight loss in the TV series titled Celebrity Fit Club (2005)
The TV personality is known to be someone who has high numbers when it comes to weight checks. After starring in two episodes of the TV series Celebrity Fit Club which featured 8 celebrities who try to lose weight for charity, Phil lost a total of 41 pounds (18kg), from his initial weight when entering the show at 353 pounds (160kg), down to 312 pounds (142kg).
In the next episode of the show, his record was further beaten down by two of his colleagues who lost 51 and 42 pounds respectively (23 and 19 kg).

April Margera is Bam Margera’s mother. She was born in Glenn Mills, Pennsylvania on March 28, 1956. Her father is Samuel W. Cole Jr. who is known to be an army veteran in the US Army 501st division. She lost her father in 2020 (88).
Her mother. Velma Vogel Cole had a career as a businesswoman. April is not the only child of her parents, she was brought up alongside 3 siblings namely Dan, Dawn, and Matt.

April is also a TV personality, with a series of appearances in many films and TV series. She started her career in her 40s and has credit for many films she has featured alongside her husband. Some of their notable features are Haggard: The Movie (2003) and The Fast Food King (2017).
Aside from being an actress, she is also a publisher. Her most notable book is titled April Cooks: There’s an Alligator in My Kitchen (2006). The book was part of a skit for Jackass on the fact that her son Bam put an Alligator in her kitchen.
She is also a very industrious person, who is into business following in the footsteps of her mom. She is a joint owner of a store known as The Rose Hip Barn together with her mother and daughter-in-law, Kelly. Located in Concord Ville, Pennsylvania, the store opened in December 2011.

April and Phil got married in 1976
Phil and April exchanged marital vows when they were still very young; in their very early 20s. They got married in 1976. When they met, Phil was just a baker who had relocated from his place of birth to Westchester.

Jess Margera is the eldest son of the couple. He was born on August 28, 1978. In 2016, in an interview with family therapy host Dr. Jenn, his mom associated his mental issues with his childhood, stating that he was traumatized by his father who always played scary pranks on him. Both parents admitted to enabling his mental misbehavior as they did not pay attention to their child on time.
In 2019, he also took to his Instagram, posting a video in which he made comments about disowning his mom. He also stated that his family is in shambles. He said he could not withstand his wife who he referred to as being stubborn and would use his son as bait to separate from him. He admitted being crazy and pleaded for help from the public domain.

April and Phil lead an intervention team for their son to be rescued back to rehab in June 2022
The couple alongside some intervention team rescued their son who went AWOL from his rehab facility on June 25, 2022. April and Phil alongside the team confronted Bam Margera and spoke to him after absconding from a rehab center that was mandated by a court in Deerfield Beach. He had previously absconded from a rehab center earlier that same month in Florida.
Bam revealed that he was unhappy with the place and was not treated like a celebrity which was why he left. He also said that he was scared he would never see his son again if he stayed in rehab, but his wife pleaded with him to take the rehab program seriously. After the intervention, he went back to the rehab center to seek help.
Bam Margera’s parents are no longer in communication with their son after going AWOL again in September 2022
After much ground thinking all is well with their son, Bam Margera has once fled his rehab facility once again in the early week of September 2022. Sources stated that he has cut ties with his parents as such.
According to sources, he left his rehab facility center on Sunday and has been telling friends and family that he met a lawyer friend who could help him get out of his court rehab by leaving the state.
He was spotted at a Tavern in Sarasota in the early hours of Monday 5th September, at around 1 AM to be precise. It was revealed that he was no longer speaking to his mother and his father.
