David Henry Lennon’s father is Alfred Lennon, who is also known as Alf Lennon or Freddie. When he met David’s mother, he was said to be in his 50s while she was only between 18 and 20 years old. David Henry Lennon’s Brothers
David Henry Lennon has two siblings, John Lennon who was the oldest of the three sons, and then Robin Francis Lennon. He had no sister.
1. John Lennon
John Lennon was born on 9 October 1940, in Liverpool, United Kingdom. He became famous as a musician and peace activist before he was assassinated on December 8, 1980, in the United States.
David and John Winston Ono Lennon did not have any relationship because of the many complicated circumstances in which they found themselves. Although the two were brothers through their father, they had different mothers. John’s mother was Julia Stanley Lennon.
Also a musician, Julia Lennon was born in 1914 and got married to Freddie Lennon in 1938. Unfortunately, by 1958, only two years after they had their son, John, Freddie left her and later went on to marry David’s mother.
Because of this, the former The Beatles man and David were raised in different places and they did not get close because John Lennon and Alfred did not have the best relationship because the singer was angry that he was abandoned by his father whom he later blamed for the death of his mother.
2. Robin Francis Lennon
Robin Francis Lennon is the youngest of the Lennon brothers. He was born on October 22, 1973, three years before the death of his father, and seven years before John Lennon was murdered.
Although like David, Robin has ensured to keep a better part of his life away from the public domain, it was reported many years ago when he was 23 years old that he was still unemployed at the time, and was living with his mother.
David and Robin knew of their relationship with John Lennon, but because they did not have any relationship with the singer, they always preferred to get on with their lives away from the shadow of the celebrated singer.
