Puerto Rican singer and actress Millie Corretjer met, enthralled, and married former professional boxer, Oscar De La Hoya within a few months. They remained married for almost 2 decades and welcomed 3 children together.

At the start of Oscar’s musical career, he was introduced to the Puerto Rican artist and he insisted on having her on his music video. They met courtesy of this and then started a relationship shortly after meeting.
However, it would be important to note that Oscar had been in a relationship with Shanna Moakler. They dated for 3 years from 1997 to 2000. She was a former Miss USA and an actress.
In fact, at the time Oscar met Millie, he was engaged to be married to Shanna but swiftly jumped ship after meeting the Puerto Rican singer. He broke up with the model in 2000.
By October 5, 2001, Millie and Oscar got married in San Juan, in a private ceremony attended by just family and close friends.

The first child Millie welcomed with her then-husband was born on December 29, 2005. He is still a young man and hasn’t quite been in the spotlight so much but with the fame of both parents, he may not escape from stardom.
Already, he has been featured on social media posts by both parents where they celebrate him on his birthdays. Almost a year after his parent’s separation, Oscar De La Hoya posted a picture of both of them at a baseball game.

Lauren Nina Nenitte De La Hoya – 15 years old
Nina was born exactly on her brother’s second birthday, on December 29, 2007. As such, the brother and sister share the day and celebrate on the same day, every year.
Just like with her brother, Nina has been away from the media and spotlight but we also don’t believe it would be for much longer.
She has made cameos on her parents’ social media. There is one video collage of 5-year-old Nina on her father’s Instagram where she was captured working out and boxing with Oscar. The proud father captioned the upload ‘Golden Nina’ taking the ‘Golden’ from his ‘Golden Boy’ nickname to add to his daughter’s name.

If Victoria had been born 16 days earlier than her birthday, she would have shared the same day with her older siblings. However, she came on January 14, 2014, and has been described by her father, as a special child.
Her birth was kept secret but upon revelation when she was almost a year old, Oscar revealed that she came when he was really down.
In the story, the former boxer turned singer, Golden Boy stated that he was down but had started rising in victory when Millie bore Victoria. This was the inspiration behind naming her that.
Just like with her older siblings, she has made cameos on her parent’s social media handles. For now, that is all the media exposure she and her siblings have.
The former boxer, Oscar, is content with having joint custody of his children with Millie. He has no qualms with the singer having total custody of them and him having visiting privileges. He is also willing to pay spousal support and child support to Millie.
